Faltam poucos dias para a celebração do Natal. É uma data bacana para reunir a família, pensar a vida e se possível fazer uma viagem inesquecível. Vocês não acham que Natal combina com neve, com renas, com trenó e com muito amor? Para entrar no clima, nada melhor do que viver uma experiência genuína num dos cantinhos mais especiais do planeta, a Lapônia, Terra do Papai Noel.

A Lapônia é onde moram os Lapões. Faz um frio danado. Engloba parte dos territórios da Suécia, Noruega, Rússia e Finlândia. Países geladinhos. Peguei temperatura entre 5 e -5 graus em novembro. Além disso, é um dos lugares de menor densidade demográfica do mundo, no entanto tem uma personalidade forte e é a cara do Natal. Vale encarar o frio com um bom casaco, luvas e gorro. Nada que uma roupa adequada não resolva.

A vila do Bom Velhinho fica na cidade de Rovaniemi, na Lapônia Finlandesa, junto ao Círculo Polar Ártico, 850 quilômetros ao norte de Helsinque, a capital da Finlândia. Crianças do mundo todo enviam suas cartinhas para a Vila do Papai Noel. Mas, melhor do que mandar a cartinha é visitar a Vila do Papai Noel e encontrar pessoalmente com Santa Clauss em seu endereço oficial.

A melhor época para visitar a Terra do Papai Noel é exatamente às vésperas do Natal, de novembro a meados de dezembro, pois além do astral natalino mágico, se tiver sorte também dá para ver a aurora boreal (aquelas luzes coloridas que dançam no céu do Hemisfério Norte), passear de trenós puxados com renas ou husky siberianos e brincar na neve entre lagos e florestas.

Para aproveitar o melhor da Lapônia vale combinar a cidade do Papai Noel, Rovaniemi, onde indico o fofíssimo hotel-boutique Artic Light, com a cidade de Saariselkä que fica 250 quilômetros ao norte e onde é possível ficar hospedado em um hotel-iglu. A experiência será inesquecível. Escolha uma cabana-iglu do hotel Kakslauttanem, alugue um carro e divirta-se com sua família nessa época iluminada que transborda de amor e emoção.

Como vocês já devem saber o Natal é uma das minhas época favoritas do ano e com a chegada de Dezembro já começo a pesquisar referências e a me preparar para receber todos em casa da melhor forma possível.Eu sempre fico super empolgada! Adooooro fazer a decoração da mesa e no meu último post sobre Thanksgiving, recebi muitos comentários de vocês querendo dicas de como eu me inspiro para decorar tudo aqui em casa e por isso selecionei algumas dicas super especiais e que fazem toda a diferença. Olhem só:

1- A primeira de todas é: se encham de inspirações. Não tem nada melhor do que buscar muitas referências na Internet, afinal ela está aí para agregar em muitas coisas, né?! O Pinterest, é uma ótima  ferramenta e por lá você pode encontrar todos es estilos de decoração de mesa que quiser, basta colocar na busca as “palavras chaves” e pronto. Selecione o que mais gosta e crie o seu próprio estilo. Não tem erro!

2- Lembre-se sempre da combinações de cores. Ela é importante para criar um harmonia na casa e deixar ainda mais com o clima Natalino. Nessa época é muito comum vermos as cores vermelho e verde na combinação principal, porém esta não é uma regra. Eu por exemplo, amo brincar com o dourado, com o branco e prata. Fica lindo e super sofisticado.

3- A toalha de mesa é o item principal da decor, afinal ela será um “guia” para todo o resto. Vale ter em mente que se for de uma cor lisa fica mais fácil para fazer a combinação com os outros utensílios, e assim estabelecer um equilibro na decoração. Uma toalha lisa deixa mais simples o trabalho de se concentrar nos detalhes. Já no caso de algo estampado é preciso pensar no restante com um pouco mais de descrição e usar tons neutros para não ficar “over”.

4- Os enfeites das mesa fazem total diferença e dão aquele toque final na decoração. Arranjos, pinhas, castiçais, velas, guardanapos e porta guardanapos são alguns exemplos de detalhes que vão dar ainda mais vida para sua mesa natalina. Outra parte importante é a louça que vai ser utilizada para a ceia, eu gosto sempre de optar por pratos brancos de cerâmica ou porcelana, assim, consigo “brincar” mais com o restante da decoração.

5- Por fim, não se limite em decorar apenas a mesa, deixe sua casa inteira com o mesmo clima Natalino e prepare-se para receber quem você ama da melhor forma possível.

When it comes to the month of December,  I already start to look for outfit, makeup and decoration inspirations because besides loving this time of year and planing everything down to the smallest details, I also like feeling beautiful and comfortable, after all, this is a day to celebrate with family and friends and to be thankful for all the year’s achievements.

I separated several outfit ideas by categories: dresses, skirts and pants, but remember that these are just a few of the inspirations, what matters is that you feel even prettier than you already are, and rock the look with your own style.

For the girls who like a more romantic ensemble, nothing better than to go for dresses. This is a one piece item that’s easy and will ensure a beautiful look without much effort. For being versatile, you can match it with minimalist or striking accessories. If you’re thinking of a more light and cheerful look, bet on flowy versions.

The skirts are also great choices and will assure more relaxed or even more feminine looks.  Accessories are what will differentiate, it is worth going for sneakers, heels, sandals or even boots.

Trousers will ensure a greater comfort and never go out of style. You can wear them either with a more sophisticated pair of shoes, as well as with sneakers, boots or flats. The important thing is to always play with the hi-lo – this is the perfect trick to make outfits more stylish and interesting.

I selected ideas for all styles and tastes, but its worth inspiring yourselves with these references and ultimately creating your own version.

Starting with the almost everyone’s favorite: the brown smokey. If you do not want to go super bold, this is your best bet! And the good thing is that you can choose any shade of lipstick, from the palest to the super dark. If you want to give an extra oomph to the makeup, add some glitter. It will look beautiful!

The warm shades have never been so IN as they are now, so take advantage and play with them. They leave any makeup with a more current vibe and has everything to do with Christmas celebrations.

It is also worth trying out the Millennial Pink trend and creating an amazing look with this shade. It’s super pretty and delicate.

For the more classic girls, the infallible combo: eyeliner + red lipstick. You can’t go wrong with this one and it leaves any look beautiful. If you like your makeup super basic but want to add a touch of color, use a lot of mascara and choose a dark lipstick.

I chose a glam look, a black dress full of pearl embellishments with an open back – a jewel! I went with sleek hair and a bold smokey with lots of glitter!

We spent Christmas at our house, I love it! My mom prepared the whole dinner (as always) and it was absolutely delicious!!! I prepared the table with lots of love and it came out amazing!

One of the best times of the year for me is Christmas, the city is beautifully decorated, the Christmas vibe is incredible and I love getting together with the whole family at home to celebrate a special day like this. One of my favorite things is thinking of what I am going to wear  – even if I am spending it at home, I love dressing up and most of the time I go for something more lady-like; I always end up choosing a skirt of dress. For this reason, today I gathered some of my past looks for you to get some inspiration when putting together your Christmas look. Check it out:

Red is always the color option that I like the most for the day and it matches the Christmas theme.  As much as it may be cliché, I think creating a total red look is so beautiful around this time of the year. Haha. I have separated completely different ensembles, but in the same color, for you to have more options when putting together your outfit. If your Christmas is more relaxed, replace high heels with flats.

If you are not a big fan of a total red look, but you like the idea of wearing this color for this day, a nice option is to wear an accessory or at least one piece in red, that way the outfit is more fun while still being in the theme.  I love this mix in of pastel blue with red that I wore in the third look, super stylish and comfortable at the same time.

For the girls who want to wear something a bit more basic but also like to wear a monochrome look, go for a Pink look. Not only is it a cheerful tone, it’s a warm and romantic.  I separated these two that have completely different proposals: left is more serious and super girly while the right is cool and chique.

Finally, if you love wearing a mixture of colors, go for floral pieces, this print is super in right now. I chose three comfy and feminine outfits, just be careful when choosing your accessories. Go for more simple and basic jewelry and purses.

The same way that I LOVE to wear red outfits for Christmas, I also love matching my makeup to it. Therefore, I chose this option with a more basic cat eye and lashes and finalized with red lips. Another great option is to wear colored eye shadows that draw attention and that at the same time are super sophisticated. For this option, I chose a beautiful pink shade with a touch of brown. A bronze makeup with touches of gold is another great option for Christmas especially if your outfit option is colorful or floral. Check out this tutorial HERE!
