It’s time to get the hair accessories out of the drawerS. Everything that looks like “old-fashioned” came back full force in 2019. The bulky hair of the 80s, the tic-tacs of the 1990s and sports hats … Now, watch for the return of the mini hair clips, headbands and tiaras. Some are thin, others thicker, leather, plastic or fabric. On the runways, brands like Miu Miu and Prada always explore pieces adorned with glitter, whether delicate or striking. The first invested in the version covered by crystals. As for Miuccia Prada, the model is maxi and bulky, contrasting white with tacking applications for her young rebel Summer 2019 collection. On the streets, fashionistas are already showing off their modern pieces. Camila bet on a wide velvet tiara version with structure that stands out on the hair, which has the biggest retro and girlie vibe. Meanwhile, I went for a flower shaped clasp to fasten the bun. It is such an indispensable item for those who feel the need to give an innovated touch to the look throughout the day.

At Balmain, designer Olivier Rousteing opted for the maxi chains headband to complete the rocker look. While the first one fastened strands in long chains, the second presented a kind of turban, but this time, made of rhinestones. Two ideal accessories for casting off nightly ensembles and give that dash of boldness in the right measure. Because standing out is one of the great secrets of the latest and upcoming seasons.

I get so happy when the holidays are coming up, it’s that special time of the year when you get to reunite with family, loved ones and be grateful for all the good things that happened throughout the year (and bad – because we always learn from our mistakes, right?!)!

Today’s look is already on a holiday party mood, wearing all neutral with a touch a gold on the accessories! I chose a silk slip dress, which is not only chic but very comfortable, and to warm me up a faux fur coat. I finalized it with a mini nude bag and black and white mule for a more classic and modern vibe.

My touch of glam were on the accessories! To finish my look I chose beautiful pieces from the PANDORA Jewelry Winter Collection – a mix of 14K gold rings, stud earrings and a gorgeous pendant necklace.

The holiday spirit inspires me, and when it comes to gifting others I am very selective – I like to give a gift that truly reflects my one-of-a-kind relationship. Today’s post is on the look I wore Sunday afternoon for a relaxed day with family after my goddaughter’s baptism (I will show you that look in detail on a separate post). I chose this super cute and flowy light blue dress with a plunging neckline. To complement the dress, I wore a beautiful and super delicate handmade crochet cardigan (also in light blue) on top for a touch of glamour. I finalized with Pandora’s Summer 2016 collection featuring oceanic inspired jewelry, which matched perfectly with my look. Thanks to Pandora for sending over these samples.

I went for mostly pieces in teal to complement the light blue hues that I was wearing. I chose a beautiful sterling silver necklace styled with a palm tree pendant, fun stackable rings, dainty stud earrings and a mix of sterling silver bangles and leather braided bracelets – just the perfect amount of arm candy! Haha.

Yes! I am going to Coachella this year, and I am super excited!!! Not only am I anxious for the lineup but most importantly, what to pack! When I think of Coachella fashion, I think of a Western boho/rocker vibe which is pretty much the theme for the festival. I decided to create this post to show you some of the things that I am packing and also for you to grab inspirations.

Given the fact that it is a free-spirited festival, my weekend in the California desert will include a variety of jean shorts, fringe vests, lots of camel hues, suede pieces, neutral color handbags, and of course an abundance of accessories, after all, there’s no such thing as too much accessories. Haha! 

I am also bringing a lot of suede and leather booties which are great pieces to style with jean shorts as well as dresses and skirts. 

Music festival fashion is typically all about accessorizing your looks. We always see lots of floral crowns and flash tattoos, however, my main focus is jewelry! In my opinion, accessories are the final and most important part when composing an outfit, given the fact that they have the power to add charm, uniqueness and sophistication to your overall look. I am super happy to have partnered up with PANDORA Jewelry and including their Festival collection to my Coachella ensembles. The pieces I have selected matches perfectly with the boho theme. My selections include: beautiful braided leather bracelets, PANDORA Rose feathered necklaces, floral earrings, and a mix of rings!!

What I like the most in the fashion world is its turnover, despite the designers and fashionistas are always bringing news, many pieces that we wore in the past, and that some time ago we felt as if they were tacky, ends up being resurfaced. As is the case of jeans shirts, jeans on jeans, cropped, among others, and now, what was famous in the 90’s, tattoo chokers.  I’m sure that this accessory will divide opinions, I must admit that when I started to see some fashionistas wearing them I was not impressed, but now I’m beginning to sympathize with it haha.

The item that has already been listed as one of the most bizarre that has already been used in the past, has conquered the hearts of stylish that adapted to the boho/hipster trend, and is often combined with a shorter or longer necklace.
