Introducing the Camila Coelho April Collection, filled with silhouettes and fabrics perfect for warm spring and summer days ahead. From palm leaf prints to lurex crochet fabrics to tangerine silks and green florals, the April collection has pieces that will take you from day to night, from the beach to a night out. Designed for long sunny days with friends and loved ones, the spring collection will have you daydreaming of sunshine.

The white dot group features a sheer fabric adorned with tiny polka-dot stitching that stretches perfectly to hug your body comfortably. The Sancia Crop Top has puffy sheer sleeves, a corset-style bodice, and slight v detailing at the neckline. The matching Xavier Skirt features a high-waisted midi silhouette with ruching detail from the waistline to the knees and a subtle mermaid flare at the bottom. The Eva Mini Dress is an off-the-shoulder style with ruffled sleeves and neckline, a tight mini silhouette, and ruched at the sides.

Camila Coelho Collection Eva Mini Dress

The tangerine silk group includes a matching set that can be worn either together or separately to create equally chic outfit combinations. The Silvia Top is a cropped silhouette with short flutter sleeves, a V-neckline, and a woven closure at the front. The Silvia Midi Skirt features the same woven detail as the top on the waistline, plus a thigh-high slit on the front right side.

The green floral group is made of a beautiful silky fabric with a pink micro floral pattern. The Inez Top is a short sleeve crop top with puffy sleeves that button above the elbows, a deep V neckline, and a tie-front closure. The matching Cruz Skirt is a fitted midi style with a high-rise waist and thigh-high slit at the front left side. This is another set that looks equally chic together or worn on their own.

The Paloma Bodysuit is a made of a gorgeous nude lace fabric that’s sheer throughout the arms. The off-the-shoulder silhouette features a ruffle detail at the neckline and around the hands, with a lined bodice and thong back. This bodysuit looks amazing both dressed up with vintage jeans and heels and dressed down with cutoff shorts and sandals.

The palm leaf print group is one of the most versatile of the spring collection as it can be dressed up or down with ease and worn just about anywhere—from the beach to brunch to a night out. The Malena Blouse is an oversize button-down with short sleeves, the semi-sheer fabric, pockets at the chest, and black buttons. This is one of those shirts that can everyone can wear—for women it will be a bit more oversized and for men it will be more fitted, or just size up for a more oversize feel. The Savannah Midi Dress is a slinky slip dress with thin straps, a square neckline, two thigh-high slits at either side in the front, and button detailing at the top of each slit. The Alessandra Top is a micro crop with an off-the-shoulder neckline, slight puffy sleeves, and ties at the neckline and around the ribcage. The matching Esmeralda Midi Skirt is a modern slip skirt with a twist—the left side has a sexy cutout detail and a thigh-high slit at the side. This set is ideal for a day at the beach or night out on the town.

The Offshore crochet set was designed with beach days and bikinis in mind—it looks ultra-chic over a swimsuit but can also be worn alone with nude undergarments. The fabric is a cream and gold lurex crochet that shimmers beautifully in the sunlight. The Return of the Prada Nylon Bag

Once upon a time in the late ’90s and into the early ’00s, Prada’s nylon handbag styles were as cool as you could get—Virtually every celebrity and taste maker of that era was carrying one. Then, as most trends do, Prada’s nylon bag declined in popularity and eventually they were no more. But fast-forward to 2020 and Prada has reignited it’s iconic nylon style with a range of new handbags that are suddenly everywhere again. One look at fashion week street style photos is proof—Prada’s nylon bags are back! Prada’s recently re-issued nylon bags from the early 2000s are officially the It-bags once again, with trendsetters from around the globe carrying them in every color they’re available in.

The re-issued style has already been spotted on the likes of Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Kaia Gerber—and the list keeps growing. The bags have a slightly updated silhouette but kept Prada’s signature label and nylon fabric for the perfect infusion of nostalgia. These small bags are big enough to fit your phone and essentials while still remaining compact. The black and nude versions are perfect for those with more minimalist style, and it’s also available in pink for maximalists and fans of color. The version with the thin chain strap feels like the perfect combination of nostalgia and contemporary.

Prada’s nylon bags are one of those styles that truly goes with everything—from polished evening dresses to relaxed daytime looks to weekend outfits of sweatshirts and jeans. Accessory Spotlight: Oversize Chains

Typically when you think about spring, you think florals, pastels, and white lace. You also probably picture delicate jewelry and straw bags as the accessories of choice. But this spring the vibe is leaning much edgier, with one of the major trends bubbling up being of the metal variety: Oversize chains. Blame it on Bottega Veneta, but chunky chain accents are popping up on everything from shoes to bags to jewelry and belts. Handbags have always had chain straps and accents so this may sound like nothing new, but these chains have been supersized—we’re talking XXL chains. Much like Bottega Veneta, designers like Tom Ford, Dior, and Givenchy are all championing this heavy metal trend, placing it on accessories across the board. If the most influential designers on the planet are any indication, this trend is about to blow up.

This trend may seem intimidating, but it’s actually one of the easiest to incorporate into your current wardrobe. Whether paired with a t-shirt or formal dress, an oversize chain accent instantly toughens up a look. It also goes with just about everything—even feminine pieces like sundresses feel edgy and current with the addition of a thick chain necklace or belt. If you decide to invest in a chunky gold necklace, you can pair it with a t-shirt and jeans for a chic daytime look, then with a slinky slip dress for evening—talk about a truly versatile piece.

Obviously luxury designers are already on board with this trend, with Bottega Veneta leading the pack with their enviable Chain Pouch Leather Clutch and matching chain necklace. Then designers like Oscar de le Renta and Loren Stewart are offering equally beautiful chunky chain necklaces that make everything you pair them with feel elevated. If you’re looking for a more contemporary option, Laura Lombardi and Kenneth Jay Lane create gorgeous pieces at extremely reasonable price points for such high quality. Then of course if you want to go the high-street route, retailers like Mango and Zara have expensive-looking pieces for around $30. However you choose to get in on the oversize chain trend, one thing’s for sure—this one is sticking around well through summer.

Denim Trends: Mom Jeans

A few years ago, skinny jeans were the only denim style anyone wanted to wear. Fast forward to 2020 and skinny jeans are in significantly lower demand and there’s a new denim style getting all of the attention: Mom jeans. That’s right, the silhouette that’s fitted around the hips and then tapered through the rest of the leg is officially the jean style of the moment. It has a more relaxed vibe than skinny jeans, yet still feels polished and flatters your shape. Mom jeans are also typically more comfortable than skinny jeans since they aren’t quite as tight all over, giving you a bit more room to breathe.

Styling this denim silhouette may seem challenging but it’s actually surprisingly easy. Think of them as you would a typical skinny jean and pair them with everything in your closet. Mom jeans look ultra-chic with oversize blazers, chunky sweaters, and long coats in the winter, while they look equally cool with bodysuits, t-shirts, and puffy-sleeve tops in the spring. If you can stand to wear denim in the summer, throw on a crop top and sandals with your favorite pair of mom jeans and your outfit is set. The slightly loose silhouette adds an effortless vibe to anything you choose to wear them with, which is a welcome change from the feeling of restriction that skinny jeans can sometimes present.

Almost every denim brand has jumped on this trend by now, many offering numerous different variations of the mom jean silhouette. Brands like Re/Done, GRLFRND, and Agolde have cool, modern takes on this style, while heritage brands like Levi’s are offering the same classic silhouette they’ve popularized for decades. Then of course affordable retailers have also caught on, with brands like & Other Stories and Zara producing chic mom jeans with under-$100 price tags.

How to Wear the Supersize Bag Trend

For the past few seasons, mini bags and baguette bags have dominated the fashion world—with some of the most popular styles being so small they won’t even fit your phone. But that’s all about to change for spring 2020. Supersize bags are making waves and are poised to be one of the biggest accessory trends of the year. From extra large shoulder bags to colossal puffy clutches, enormous handbags are here to replace last year’s mini bag trend. Luckily for everyone, the supersize bag trend will fit your phone and probably anything else you’d like to take with you.

Styling a supersize bag is surprisingly easy, though you do take the risk of your bag stealing the limelight from the rest of your outfit. Fitted tops and bodysuits make a cool contrast to the large structure of these bags, as well as skinny jeans or body-hugging dresses. Oversize clothing also makes a cool statement paired with a large bag, like a long trench coat, oversize blazer, or fuzzy fur coat. Long dresses and those with statement sleeves also make for a great night-out look to wear with your oversize bag if you feel like replacing your favorite clutch for an evening out.

Spring 2020 Trend to Watch: Corsets

One of the major trends we saw coming down all of the spring 2020 runways was lingerie-inspired pieces. Designers like Helmut Lang, Mugler, Loewe, and Dion Lee all included pieces like garters, lace, and nightgown-like slips in their spring collections. One of the most exciting lingerie-inspired styles is the modern corset, and it’s set to be a major trend this spring. Both traditional corset and corset-inspired pieces will be everywhere in a few months and we’ve already started to see it popping up from various brands and on trend-setting fashion people.

While traditional corset tops will be a key trend, new modern takes on corsets are going to feature some of their key details like boning, structured seams, or hook-and-eye closures up the front. The key to making these corset-inspired pieces feel current is to pair them with something contemporary. High-waisted jeans that have a vintage feel would make a great daytime pairing, or a silk slip skirt and heels for an evening out. You could also try throwing a casual sweater over it for daytime to dress the corset top down a bit.
