But how can we incorporate yellow into our summer outfits without making mistakes? I’ll share some tips and inspirations of looks I’ve already worn, so you can shine under the sun in style.

Long dress: Elegance and freshness

A long yellow dress is the perfect piece for a sunny day or a summer evening. I like to choose light fabrics such as cotton, linen, satin or even silk, which guarantee comfort and freshness.

For a daytime look, I chose a straight strapless model in a flowing fabric and contrasted it with gold accessories, which add more power and elegance to the look. In the evening, a block heel or even a rope sandal will add a sophisticated touch, perfect for a dinner by the sea.

Bikini: Energy and style at the beach

There’s nothing more energizing than a yellow bikini to brighten up your look at the beach or pool. I love classic models like the triangle bikini, which is perfect for sunbathing. To balance out the look, I invest in a beach cover-up in neutral tones, like white or light blue, allowing the yellow to stand out. And of course, you can’t forget sunglasses and a stylish hat to protect yourself and complete the look.

A yellow hat is the perfect accessory to spice up your summer look. I prefer medium models, which not only protect you from the sun, but also add an extra dose of style. Look: Girlchella for day 1 of Coachella

The last few days have been all about music, fun and good looks! That’s because Coachella, an iconic festival of different styles of music and arts, is taking place in California.

I’ve already enjoyed the first three days of weekend 1 and I’m here to show you the look I chose for day 1, which mixes the cowboy style trend with a hint of boho chic.

For this, I chose a comfortable outfit rich in details that make it super flowy, comfortable and stylish at the same time. The Siedrés top has a flowy maxi length, all detailed with ruffles and a lace overlay. Another point that makes this piece even more special and delicate is the front tie closure.

The shorts have slight vertical ruffles, divided into three points of the garment – simple and perfect for dancing a lot, of course!

For accessories in the “Cowgirlcore” mood, I couldn’t leave out a good hat to protect my head from the sun during the day and from the wind as it got darker. I also opted for comfortable boots with a straight shape and a slightly thin toe.

Look: Preppy for Maison Valentino

My quick trip to Paris was marked by looks that are somewhat out of my comfort zone on a daily basis, but that I love to venture out in – and be bold, in choosing every detail and every piece. And it was no different at the incredible Maison Valentino fashion show!

For this iconic moment in Paris, I aimed for the preppy school girl style, but in a more modern and daring version, I would say lol. That’s because I chose an oversized blazer with very broad, defined shoulders. To top it off, a classic blue button up shirt and a slim tie couldn’t be left out, right?

But of course the star of the show/look was this miniskirt in an intense shade of red, all worked in roses, bringing a sexy and modern touch, the real star of the look. Don’t you agree?

To complete the outfit, I chose classic pieces that at the same time enrich the look, such as the classic pumps and the mini bag – both in black – to carry only the essentials.

Elegant and modern at the same time, the monochrome look suits different occasions, from formal to social events! You can start by trying out sets or overlays that incorporate this style, such as jackets, scarves or vests.

Look: Patbo in Cannes

AmfAR recently took place, a gala specially made to raise money for important AIDS research. The event took place during the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival and was hosted by Queen Latifah, who paid tribute to 18 iconic moments in fashion history.

For this moment, joining the glamour and the classic air that only Cannes has, I chose an iconic look by Patrícia Bonaldi, an amazing Brazilian designer, owner of the PatBo brand!

It is impossible not to be charmed by this ombré dress handmade by a talented team of couture artisans, part of the brand’s new Spring Summer 2023 collection.

Delivering a striking, daring and super elegant shape, this and other pieces in the collection feature powerful references from the 1960s and even elements from the 1970s, with lots of shine, fringes and cutouts that recall the glamor of productions from those eras.

To get in the mood and let the dress stand out, I chose a classic ponytail with a half moon side bang that reminds me of the classic hairstyles from that era.

In midi length, my dress was made to order in 45 days and has ombré glass beads and crystals that form beautiful fringes, being fully lined underneath – which creates an optical illusion.

In addition, this piece has details that make it even sexier on the body, such as a long V-neckline in the bust area and a deep closure that goes from the neck to the end of the back.

Look: A Magical night with Max Mara

I crossed the ocean and landed in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, a place marked by tranquility and the mix of nature (which looks more like a painting) with the modern buildings in the background. And the summer in the northern hemisphere is a show apart, so the clear nights permeate for hours and with that, the day never seems to end.

But what was I doing in this charming city? Honoring the special show of Max Mara, an Italian brand that values elegance allied to the “handmade” in each collection.

And for this moment, I chose a powerful new bridal dress from the brand, the “Cady fit & flare dress”. This long dress has small kimono sleeves and a super fitted bodice, perfectly highlighting the delicacy of the waist and bust.

The piece is completely closed off in the front, bringing prominence and lengthening to the shoulders, making the look even more elegant.

The unique and special style of this dress features a luxurious bejeweled necklace, made with sequins and crystals. Versatile, this breathtaking detail can be removed from the garment if you prefer.

And if the front is completely closed, the back has a powerful oval opening, totally highlighting this area of the body. I found this, the sexy touch of the look, haha.

To top it all off, there is nothing better than a long slightly flared skirt at the hem. The construction of this piece makes it unique, classic and timeless at the same time. Rich in details, this iconic dress also features a zip fastening and small buttons at the neck area.

Looks: A New Season

Spring has arrived and looks full of layers are giving way to more versatile pieces that mix light fabrics and different lengths to keep you warm or cooler throughout the day.

I have already started to explore my closet for this season and of course I couldn’t leave monochromatic looks (my favorite! aside). Check it out:

Feminino, jovial e com um toque moderno, o rosa bebê foi o destaque para esse look quentinho que escolhi usar em Paris. O clima estava começando a mudar ainda, por isso usei um suéter de gola alta oversized e um longo e clássico trench coat. Para combinar, usei uma bota de cano alto envernizada e escolhi uma minissaia jeans com uma lavagem leve, tipo azul bebê para fechar o look com chave de ouro.

Feminine, youthful and with a modern touch, baby pink was the highlight for this warm look I chose to wear in Paris. The weather was just starting to change, so I wore an oversized turtleneck sweater and a classic long trench coat. To match, I wore patent leather high boots and chose a light blue wash denim miniskirt to finish off the look.

In Miami, with a slightly cooler climate, I chose this complete set from ETRO’s Spring-Summer 2023 collection, made of wool and in a gradient style. I wore a comfy cropped sweater, a pair of mini shorts, and a long button-down cardigan, all hand-embroidered in the same knit fabric and color shading.

And we had a hotter day, an almost summer lol. So, I chose a complete look from Zen, with a tie-up top and cargo pants with side pocket, both pink! The top was developed in exclusive mesh and its closure is made by ties at the neck and waist. The pants are versatile and comfortable, with pleats below the waistband and pockets on the front, back and sides.

Nothing better than enjoying winter with good coats that not only protect you from the cold, but are also comfortable, timeless, and go with different looks. In addition, many coats can last for several years without losing style and quality. Below, check out some of the “must-have” styles in your closet that will accompany you for several winters.

Trench Coat

Before it was known as a classic and elegant coat, did you know that the trench coat was created during the First World War? Yep, this coat was originally developed for British Army officers and was worn in trenches to protect them from the cold and rain.

Therefore, this long coat is super warm and its fabric is resistant and waterproof. Sophisticated and elegant, the trench coat is perfect for formal and elegant outfits, combining comfort, style, and of course, keeping you warm on cold days.

Puffer Jacket

Fully padded, the puffer jacket is a great option to protect yourself from the wind and cold. Despite its bulk, this model of jacket is super light and is usually made of synthetic and waterproof fabrics.

With a matelassé seam, this wide jacket forms buds and can be worn over other jackets, such as wool or knit, ensuring modern and even sophisticated looks.

“Plush”

Printed, colored or neutral, “plush” jackets are made of faux fur and have a fuzzy texture, inside and/or outside, making them cozy and making any look warmer and more stylish.

Tips for choosing the best jacket

When choosing a winter coat (or several), pay attention to the fabric and materials in its composition. Did you know that some fibers are more porous and let the wind pass through? This is the case with cotton, for example. Meanwhile, others more effectively block the cold from entering, such as polyester.

Also, make sure that the jacket is wind and rain resistant or 100% waterproof and windproof. This will prevent your body from losing its natural warmth, as well as keeping you warm.

The lining of your coat will also make all the difference in cooler temperatures. A plush lining or thermal fleece are ideal for body warmth and comfort. Also, will you choose a coat with or without a hood? If you don’t want to wear a beanie, a hooded coat can be important to keep you warm.
