Episode 12: Baby Coelho’s Room Tour

Wow, we have reached the last episode of the pregnancy series and consequently 9 months pregnant! I never get tired of repeating how these last months have flown by and at any day now baby Coelho will be among us, thus marking the most awaited and special “chapter” of my life.

And to mark this last episode, I couldn’t help but show you the little room we prepared with so much love and all the details I idealized! It took three weeks to complete (almost) everything – there’s always a little detail missing, right?

My priority was for the little room to have a nature theme and to carry that energy. And as I grew up in the middle of nature, I wanted to bring a similar feeling to the baby. Maris Raffa was responsible for helping me choose every detail. Check out how it turned out:

As you can see, we have wooden details, plush rabbits (to represent the beginning of our little family), a super bear that we got from Dior…

Como puderam ver, temos detalhes em madeira, pelúcias de coelhos (para representar o início da nossa pequena família), um super urso que ganhamos da Dior… I also chose to have a super comfortable armchair to breastfeed and spend a lot of time rocking and taking care of my little baby.

And of course, I couldn’t miss a horse somewhere in the decoration! As you know, I love and grew up riding horses – we are even building a beautiful ranch in Brazil, so I wanted to bring this element into the room as well, so that the baby can “train” for when we get to know our future ranch, lol.

And well, the most asked question: “What’s baby Coelho’s name?”, and I decided to tell you only when he is born (don’t freak out on me, lol). But I can give you a hint: besides being a shorter name, it has the letter A in it… Any guesses?

Spoiler: Maybe I’ll record one more video showing our trip to the hospital, the birth and the arrival of our baby. I don’t know yet what it will be like, because at this time we forget everything and just want to be there, living the moment to welcome baby Coelho calmly.

You have always been part of different phases of my life, and this time it couldn’t be different. I was very happy to share every detail of this new journey with you, so thank you so much for following us this far! It was wonderful, essential and gratifying to have you here interacting with me and my family.

Episode 11: Mothers who inspire

Final stretch of my pregnancy and with that, our series on this subject is almost coming to an end! It’s been more than 8 months of baby Coelho in the belly and you’ve followed every moment throughout 11 episodes.

In fact, today’s is the 11th and in it I decided to gather and interview a team of incredible women who are already mothers and who kindly shared great advice and even funny experiences along this journey that is to be a mother.

Episode 10: Talking about the past, present and future

For episode 10 of my Pregnancy series, I decided to have a deeper, more personal conversation with you guys! We are already in the final stretch of pregnancy and consequently the “episodes” of this series are also coming to an end…

Soon our little baby Rabbit will be here among us, so before that happens, I wanted to share with you a little bit about my past as a daughter, as well as a little bit of my present and what I hope and think will happen in the future with this new experience and unique moment in my life. I think it’s even a good way to answer some curiosities and questions you might want to know about me! Watch below:

Episode 9: Quiz – Who knows me best?

Episode 9 of the Pregnancy series is a new Quiz, this time between baby Coelho’s grandma (my mom) and dad, of course. The idea is to ask questions and whoever answers first (and right) probably knows me best!

And as you already know, this is a fun video and even a little tense lol, because we are not very competitive, right? Who do you think got it right, the son-in-law or the mother-in-law? Check it out in the video below:

Episode 8: Baby Coelho’s Shower

Episode 8 is one of the most special so far, because we were able to gather some of our family and friends for baby Coelho’s shower. This moment happened on a super beautiful and hot summer day – and as you already know, I love this season, so it was all good!

This is baby Coelho’s first “event” lol, so I was super excited and the day couldn’t have been more special and joyful! In fact, on this day several friends were able to see me pregnant for the first time! We played a lot of fun games and the guests received onesies to explore their imagination and customize for the baby.

Oh, and instead of gifts for the baby, I asked each guest to donate to the Epilepsy Foundation to help children who have this disorder!

And the decoration was beautiful and lux – right in the mood of our baby who will be Leo. With that, nothing better than stuffed lions and lots of green to color the environment, right?

The guests received souvenirs from Pipette and the beautiful table set was from Dior. This baby is chic, right? Check out the video of this amazing day in our lives – and certainly in baby Coelho’s too!

Another episode is up and can you believe we are already at 7? Here we are at 29 weeks, which means we are almost at the 7 month mark – time is flying!

How to stay stylish (and comfortable) during pregnancy?

Pregnancy is that moment where a woman’s body undergoes many transformations, curves change and areas with more volume too, after all, a new life is being generated. As a result, many women end up not identifying with the clothes they wore before, and now look for more comfortable pieces, but without leaving style aside.

However, many pieces made exclusively for pregnant women end up not enhancing the woman’s body and are too basic. Check out some tips on how to keep stylish during pregnancy, with pieces that enhance your individuality and personality, now accompanied by a beautiful baby bump!

Oversized pieces can be good options for looks in this new phase of life – and can even be worn after pregnancy. Shirts, jackets, and dresses in this model will suit the belly as it grows.

Investing in knits is also a great option, since this fabric has a natural elasticity and can thus keep up with changes in the body over the months.

Mesh pieces are usually a great and comfortable option during pregnancy, even more so when they have some percentage of elastane – because they stretch comfortably and do not “trap” in the belly.

You can also choose pieces that allow you to tie them up, so you can adjust them as the months go by, according to the size of your belly.

Bottoms can seem difficult to adapt over the 9 months, so the idea is to invest in pieces with elastic waistbands, knit midi skirts, pareo skirts and lace-up models. The trick to make the bottom pieces more modern is to bet on midi length.

Episode 6: Pie in the Face Challenge!

The last few weeks have been going by super fast and I recently completed 27 weeks of pregnancy – which makes me even happier and more excited to meet our long-awaited baby soon!

While the month of the leo’s is not here yet, we recorded another episode of the Pregnancy Series and guess what? We’re back with another challenge between Icaro and I – remember in the last episode I commented that we love a competitive game?

And as I commented in the last episode too, we are very competitive, so let’s just say we take this game a bit seriously… lol. Known as “pie in the face”, this game has rules which basically consist of: we were given a question (in this case about motherhood) and whoever rang the bell first and then answered the question correctly, had the right to give the other a nice pie in the face! Check it out:

Episode 5: Baby’s First Look

In episode 5 of my Pregnancy “series” I told you all curious fact: I was already in the 6th month of pregnancy and until that moment I hadn’t bought anything for the baby yet! So I took you shopping with me to buy the baby’s first look – and even the clothes he will leave the hospital in.

Ícaro went with me that day and even asked for discounts at the store where we bought the first clothes, haha. Oh, and besides, we even had a challenge in this video: buy a complete look for the baby with only 20 dollars! Did I make it? Check it out in the video below:

A Look to Celebrate

Recently I had the pleasure of being on the cover of Miami Magazine, an amazing American magazine with the best tips on luxury, fashion, restaurants and much more about Miami. To celebrate this moment, we had a delicious lunch at Sadelle’s Coconut Grove, on a hot (almost) summer day, so I couldn’t help but put together a special look that suited the occasion, right?

For this, I chose green as the main color of the look and opted for a custom vintage shirt from slf luv society, all open and with a more deconstructed look. Despite being long-sleeved, it was super comfortable and light, so I didn’t get too hot and I was still able to show off my belly (which doesn’t stop growing!).

Besides, I couldn’t help but wear a piece from the Camila Coelho Collection, right? So I chose this white micro miniskirt, simple and sexy at the same time. To complete, a mini Fendi bag (that I wore the other day matching a larger size, who saw it?), with just the essentials, lol.

I think that gold accessories enhance even more my skin color, so I chose the ones from Aureum Collective for this day! And for the makeup, the classic combo that I love: well done skin, a beautiful nude lipstick and lots of gloss, plus false lashes and a touch of color (green, of course), just in the detail of the inner corner. What do you think?

Even during pregnancy, I can’t do without a good pair of heels – always keeping in mind comfort and safety, of course – so I chose this white pair, more open in the front, great for hot days too.
